Next District 2 VFW meeting at Marshall VFW post on May 17, lunch at 1 pm, meeting at 2pm.
Memorial Service for Wolverton at Salem Park in Salem by the Fairgrounds, meet at the Post, we'll be leaving the building at 12:30 pm. Jamieson Chute and Sean Wright are coordinating the service for the Honor Guard.
May 21 - Stars and Stripes Social for Veteran information at the Post. Event hosted by Ozark Assisted Living from West Plains. 4:30 pm to 6:00 pm. (Bingo, Prizes and Refreshments.)
May 23 - Homecoming Parade. Color Guard meet at Salem Fire Station at 12:30 pm. Those participating with Side by sides or vehicles should line up at Preacher Roe Park at 1200 noon.
May 25 - Memorial Day Activities to be held at post at 11:00 am. Participants meet at the Post at 9 am in uniform for set up and practice. Chili dinner to be served afterwards.
July 18 - Veteran Day recognition at Fairgrounds. Start time to be after the auction.
July 25 - 29 VFW National Convention in Reno.
Bingo at Post every Friday at 6 pm, weather permitting.
